Our names are Ethan and Noah Margolis, and we are brothers who live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. As student-athletes, there is nothing that we love more than the game of basketball, and we want to share that love with others.
We know that basketball teaches more than just skill; it builds friendship, character, and respect. As members of the Jewish Community Center and students at the Abraham Joshua Heschel School, we’ve learned countless valuable lessons regarding the importance of a strong community, and the meaningful relationships that can be formed within one.
Our Vision
1
We assemble a team of students in and around the neighborhood to participate in the program.
2
Depending on pre-existing program parameters, teams could meet weekly or monthly, thereby allowing participants some flexibility with regards to attendance.
3
Pending availability, we identify, approach and secure special guests to join us throughout the program, such as local school coaches and former college players.
4
Finally, our hope is always for the programs to grow in reach and scope, building both our participants and partner organizations.
